Thank you for overthrowing the Taliban and allowing Afghans to vote for the
first time in their history.

Thank you for overthrowing Saddam Hussein and allowing the Iraqis to hold
free elections for the first time in their history.

Thank you for maintaining a tough foreign policy that has led to Libya
abandoning their nuclear ambitions.

Thank you for maintaining a tough foreign policy that isolated Yassar Arafat
and led to free and fair Palestinian elections.

Thank you for keeping pressure on Syria to remove their troops from Lebanon.
Everyday we see signs that Assad is about to blink.

Thank you for stating categorically that Iran will not be allowed to obtain
a nuclear bomb. We know when you say something, you mean it.

Thank you starting the domino effect in the middle east that has led Hosni
Mubarak to seek to change the Egyptian constitution to allow for a
multi-party system. IOW, true democracy continues to spread in the middle
east.

Thank you for crippling Al Qaida to the point where there have been no
further attacks on American soil. All Al Qaida have done the last 4 years
is make videotapes and hide. This is due in large part to your constant
pressure on their network.

Thank YOU President Bush for all you have done to keep America safe. May you
have just as many successes in the coming FOUR MORE YEARS!!!

They were not free elections. The candidates were secret. the
platforms were secret. You could barely call them elections and you
forgot Bush fought AGAINST elections.

Thank you for crippling Al Qaida to the point where there have been no
further attacks on American soil. All Al Qaida have done the last 4 years
is make videotapes and hide. This is due in large part to your constant
pressure on their network.
Given that the first and only one was orchestrated by Cheney/Bush,
that was not all that hard to arrange.

no, but you are not interested in learning how it was done. Mr. Smarty
Pants here thinks he knows without reading books what they contain. He

For anyone actually interested in how Cheney did it with 700 pages of
backup for the detail, have a read:

Crossing the Rubicon: 9/11 and the Decline of the American Empire at
the End of the Age of Oil
Michael C. Ruppert
Ruppert is an ex-Cop. He builds a solid case that Dick Cheney is the
mastermind behind 9/11.

It is not democracy that Bush is speading. This is nothing but the
lie that Bush who is a puppet of the Oil-Oligarchy, is using to pull
the wool over so many people's eyes.

What is happening is the
SPREAD-OF-DOMINATION-BY-THE-CORPORATE/OIL-OLIGARCHY.

THE ELECTIONS IN IRAQ ARE A SHAM... NOTHING BUT WAR IS BEING SPREAD TO
THAT REGION.

WAR IS GOOD FOR CORPORATE PROFITS.

PLEASE WAKE UP.

Drive around McClean, VA(the home of CIA headquarters) and read the
road signs: "George Bush's CIA"
Nixon is spinning in his grave wondering what Bush has to do to be
impeached.

"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is a merge of
State and Corporate power." ---Benito Mussolini, the father of modern
fascism.

from the 1950's through the mid-1990's. The house was never controlled by
Reps during that time and the Senate, only once in a while. Given this FACT,
and the FACT Congress authorizes spending, the blame for the HUGE national
debt should be placed squarely at the feet of the DIMS.

So quit trying to play like *you're* the party of fiscal responsibility. It
fall flat, like the rest of your lies.

Thanks for pointing out that Congress can't control its insatiable spending
and that the American people can't stop their addiction to socialist
entitlement programs.
The REPUBLICAN Congress.
Bills signed by BUSH.
Don't forget the trillions passed by DEMOCRAT Congresses, and signed by
DEMOCRAT Presidents.

You can't reduce the debt if you mismanage government
finances producing huge deficits that simply add to the debt.

Bush,Jr is RESPONSIBLE.

He came into office with government finances going in the right direction.

God you're a stupid ass. Just because the Republicans balanced the budget
during the 90's didn't mean that the national debt DISAPPEARED.

Right now the government is running a deficit (a NECESSARY deficit after the
ravages of 9/11 on the economy) and is adding to the national debt, that is
true. So if you want to blame the current deficit and it's affect on the
national debt on the Republicans, then if you have any intellectual honesty
(and I know you don't) you'd have to admit that during the 40 YEARS (1954
through 1994, including the Reagan years) the Dims primarily controlled
Congress and hence, spending, they ran up a HUGE portion of the national
debt.

But you're too much of a partisan to ever admit this, so that's why I give
up on you.

Prove me wrong

CBO data show that Democratic Congresses cut the deficit five times as
much as Republican Congresses: $116 billion by the Democrats, only $23
billion by the Republicans.

the 103rd Congress accomplished five times as much as the 104th and
105th Congresses combined; further, the fiscal 1997 spending
reductions accomplished by the 103rd Congress total $56 billion,
almost three times as much as the $20 billion in outlay reductions
accomplished by the 104th and 105th
Congresses

In the summer of 1993, the 103rd Democratic Congress enacted a deficit
reduction bill, overcoming unanimous Republican opposition. According
to CBO, legislation by the 103rd Congress reduced the fiscal 1997
deficit by $116 billion, half from lower spending, half from higher
revenues. The Democratic plan pushed both spending and revenues toward
balance.

What has that got to do with YOU admitting the Dims are primarily

The one created by bills signed by Reagan, Bush, and Bush?
That one?

Never the two shall meet.
You're fucking joking, right?
Never meet? One causes the others, nitwit.
Congress and hence, spending, they ran up a HUGE portion of the national
debt.
But you're too much of a partisan to ever admit this, so that's why I give
up on you.
You still don't understand the relationship between deficit and debt, do
you. And they've got to be the most basic economic concepts. Sad. Really
really sad.

Oh, and I'm not a partisan. I don't belong to any party. Can't even get that
right.

Yes their was a "on budget" surplus in the 1990's and yes the national
debt did go up, ($17 billion in year 2000). Bush uses this gimmick of,
"on budget" "off budget" to hide the massive size of the true deficits
all the time.

Every year under Clinton, (except one), the deficits went down. Bushes
insane economic policy of borrowing from the future to pay for tax
breaks for the rich might win/buy elections, but in the long run will
do major damage to this country.

160 days into fiscal 2005 the debt has increased $361 Billion (real
deficit), projected to 365 days, the deficit for 2005 will be $823.7
Billion. Bush is on track for a 2005 real deficit approaching $823.7
Billion raising the national debt to $8.2 Trillion.

Bush is on his 3rd economic team for a reason, supply-side economics
is not working, or Bush is purposely looting & bankrupting these
United States of America. Bush is ontrack for a 2005 real deficit
approaching $823,772,146,249.35

During 2004 (that is, measured from the fourth quarter of 2003 to the
fourth quarter of 2004), real GDP increased 3.7 percent.
http://www.bea.gov/bea/newsrel/gdpnewsrelease.htm

Economy grew 3.7% in 2004 but the National debt (real deficit) grew by
5.5% of GDP in 2004. GDP in 2004 was $10,837,200,000,000.00

LOL! Klintoon didn't get anything done till he had a Republican Congress.

According
to CBO, legislation by the 103rd Congress reduced the fiscal 1997
deficit by $116 billion, half from lower spending, half from higher
revenues. The Democratic plan pushed both spending and revenues toward
balance.

Oh, and one other thing for your totally illogical mind to try and
comprehend. Your analysis talks about who REDUCED the debt, NOT WHO RAN IT
UP IN THE FIRST PLACE.

You're a goof ball too. Your article doesn't specify any TIME FRAME prior to
1993.

Secondly, if what you posted is true, then there should be NO national debt,
given the fact that the DIMS primarily controlled Congress for 40 YEARS!
from 1954 to 1994. Unless, of course, you're going to make the claim that
the ENTIRE national debt was run up prior to 1954 and after 1994, which we
both know isn't true.

Sooo, basically, you're an idiot too.
